getting higher quality

sort of a double post, but Ill get more indetailed..Ive burned my FF tactics to another cd and it does work, but every now and then it freezes, but my Breath of fire 3 works perfectly..
i have pretty cheap cdr's which i just found out are bad(never thought of it getting better) ive got kensiko cdr's.
Now I burned those two games with nero, and DB GT which is horribly unstable was burned with cdrwin, everything at the specs Ive seen on webpages and at 1x speed, NEVER on the fly,
so 1: do you guys ever get "perfect" copies? 2: can fmv's be copied "working"? mine always skip 3: any hints besides changing cdr's to get better results?
thanks, and sorry for being the newbie in the backside lol

psx_paul is on a distinguished road
Take a look at www.psxcopyworld.co.uk for other burning methods. Try using CloneCD for 1:1 backups.

It could be your cd-r, but I only use PC World unbranded discs with no problems. Buzzon will probably point you to a better quality cd-r.

Talking

Use TDK, or Sony's(Great for me)..
Also laser could be sensitive..Use CDRwin for Original to CDR and Clone Cd for Copy to Copy..Or use Clone Cd for Both methods..
Always Make image first(Seems like you're already doing that) and then image back to CDR..Personally 1x Burn is too slow stick with 2X,4X or 8X no more than 16X..Anything above that seems like it becomes unstable(Causes Skipping,Locking up)..
Experiement!!

experiment? that'll make me go broke lol..anyways can someone answer , do you ever get totally perfect copies? especially games with cutscenes and movies, are those always perfect? and any info on your specs would be helpful(comps speed, burner speed you set at, cdr's you use..though i guess i should get some TDK's?etc ) as I certainly cant

also verbatims are one of the best for burning psx games. if you use clonecd you will get a 1:1 copy providing that your hardware is 100% compatible with clonecd.
