hi!
i downloaded a game and unzipped it. it was a .nrg file for nero. i burned it using nero and there were no problems with the burn. but the game doesn't work. my dreamcast does play burned games, but when i put in the cd it has that track and play screen, then it asks to insert a disk. what's the problem?? |

It's a Nero image so unless it's the very last version, your game isn't selfboot. Silly question : did you use Utopia boot disc to boot your game ?
Which game is it ? Maybe it needs a patch... |

hello,
yes, i did try the utopia boot disk and it just kept it at that screen. the CD didn't load or anything. so that didn't work either. i have Nero 5.5.5.9 so i think that's the latest version. the game is jedi power battles. could it be the file itself? i also have marvel vs capcom 2 in a .nrg file. only it is too big to fit onto a 700mb cd. will there be the same problem? help? anybody? |

You cn ask for almost anything like "how do I selfboot my game", "how do I set my own music in xxx", "why do I have a black screen", ... but never "where do I download a game".
Ask for anything except where to download illegal stuff. |

hi,
yes my burner does support overburning and i tried that with the MVC 2 but it only gave me an error and it doesn't work on the dreamcast either. i tried burning the jedi power battles again and still no luck. could the file be corrputed? how would i be able to check, since it's only in a nero image burning file, i can't see the components that constitute it. any ideas? |

Check your image with CDMage. It's a great tool.

One simple question,
why is nearly every every DC-Image a DJ Image? I donīt get it.I really hate this useless piece of Software shit, it trashed so many Cdrs, I was not able to burn just ONE image on cd with it. Even on two different burners. It just doesnīt work. I worked with about 10 burnprogs but this is the worst one and I never would have used it, if not nearly every damn DC-image was DJ. Whoa I hate it, Waaaaagh!

Easy question !
![]() DiscJuggler was one of the first burning tools that handled multi sessions images. It's still the only one with the lastest version of Nero I think. All selfbootable DC games have 2 sessions. Try to copy a selfboot game with CDRWin or an old version of Nero, and see what happens. Personally, I already burnt thousands CDs using DJ and they all worked perfectly. For me, it's one of the greatest burning tools I've seen. It's much user-friendly than Nero, more complete than CDRWin and less bugged than EZCD Creator... Well, that's only my opinion.

OddSilicon, if Disc Juggler is not working for you, it is either a conflict between something already on your system and Disc Juggler, or it's operator error. Disc Juggler works well enough for me that I'll even use it to make multiple copies of discs rather than using Nero. I create lots of discs (not Dreamcast games though) using Nero, but I copy using Disc Juggler.
One thing Disc Juggler has over practically **EVERY OTHER** writer software is that it can simultaneously write to multiple CD-R/CDRW drives, which permits you to create several copies of a disc - FAST (provided you have multiple writers on your system). |

OK, there are some things, DJ is able to do, that other programs cantīt do.
I think thatīs the reason why it is not compatible with many burners. I have a Mitsumi burner that already is some years old. I also tried it on a new LG burner and it dindīt work. There is not much to do wrong, so I think itīs incompatiblity. |
