BCD 36X cd rom eject locked HELLLPPPPP!!!!!!

I am using the BCD 36X as my main cd rom when not using my cd-writter but after using Norton ghost I can no longer eject my cd rom. Is there any utility I can use (as Norton ghost will not unlock it and Norton have been less than helpful on this matter) to unlock my cd rom? Have any of you got a flash utility to flash my bios back to the original settings or any command lines I can add to fix this problem. I am using windows me but would re install windows 98 if this would help.

Thank you

Sounds nasty.

In Windows Explorer, have you tried right-clicking on your cd-rom's icon then selecting 'eject'?

Also, is there a tiny hold near the eject button on your cd-rom? You can insert a long, thin object into this hole to eject the disc. Caution: you're only really supposed use this hole when your computer is turned off - hence if a disc is spinning up you can very easily damage the underneath; use with extreme caution.

Seems strange how the software you're referning to can have such an affect on your hardware.
