The gcw buying a cdrw/ the best cdrw is out of date!!!!
what do you want to use the writer for mainly...
backing up protected games
audio cds
storing data?????

i always felt that plextor is just too expensive for what it provides.
although its popular as being the BMW of the cdrw world.

if you want a drive for legitimate backup of non protected stuff the ricoh is a reliable brand

if you want to be able to copy all protections on the market then get a new acer 1208a 1610a 2010a etc and above
(although you will need a cdrom/dvd that can read subchannel data for backups that contain subchannel data ie securerom)
