I need help about 'coasters'.

I'm planning on buying a cdrw and the main thing which troubles me is 'buffer underrun' (coasters). I wanted to know what it does how U can avoid this without special protection (JustLink, BurnProof, ect)?
And does this protection really helps?

I found a pretty cheap LG writer, it has 8mg but no buffer underrun protection. Should I buy it?

Oh, and another question, if u know anything about it:
Are these buffer underrun protection are hardware or software (firmware)?

ThankALot, Micheal.

Coasters from buffer underrun are mainly caused by
1 copying direct from one cd to the next
2 doing 2 much stuff on your computer at one time
3 having a very old computer
4 having some background program that gets in the way of the burner

all these can be avoided!!!!!
i dont have buffer underrun protection on my burners and i havent ever had a buffer underrun ever!!!!
also i havent every seen a program that will act as a buffer underrun protection
Basicly dont worry about it its not as big a problem as some people say!!!!
