Unhappy help with ps2 burning

Hi can any one help me I try to burn ps2 games but I can not even get past the Extract Disc/Tracks/Sectors part. I follow the instuctions (the one this site). But when I start to save the image to your hard-drive in CDRWin. It comes up Error: Unable to analyze disc layout illegal track type encountered. Can any one please help?

ww.psxcopyworld.co.uk has good tutorials.

But are you sure you're not putting a DVD in your drive?

Your error is a symptom of putting a DVD game into the drive instead of a CD game. CDRWin doesn't process DVD games and you may not even have a DVD reader - you didn't say.

Oh right, tep it was a dvd game in a dvd drive. So that means you can not copy them on to normal cdr's I know about the size diff but is there no way around that?

Not in a playable way.

You can go in for ripping 4.5GB DVD games onto a 700MB CD-R! But you'll strip out movies that provide clues for game play. Just not worth doing. You could buy a Pioneer A03/A04 DVD-R Burner and copy disk to disk with your setup.
