Unhappy Problem with booting FFX ntsc backup

When i try to boot up a backup of FFX an ntsc region it won't work
how do i boot it up with the AR2. I have a USB modchip

allright here's what you have to do

step 1

you put in the ar2 cd and then turn off your got it ?

step 2

now turn on your ps2 and hold the power button

step 3

when the ar2 screen comes up and the disc stops spinning press the ject button remember DONT GET YOUR FINGER OFF THE POWER BUTTON!!now switch it with a orignal DVD game like Devil may cry ( demo ) or any other game with high toc value GTA3 can do the job too

Now let it load for a minute

step 4

now select start game without codes now get your finger off the power button and the tray will open now quick switch it with the DVD backup and just before it closes hit start

step 5

PLAY THE GAME!!!

I'd be surprised if that works with a USB chip.
