Hey guys. I'm not new to back ups for PS1, but I'm just starting PS2. What is the Messiah, where do I get it. Is CDRWIN still what I wanna use? Thanks

Messiah is the direct boot no swap mod. Your focus should be DVD games. This would need a DVD-R burner (Pioneer A03 or A04). Squeezing 4.5GB onto a 650MB CD-R is now getting ridiculous.
Because everything is direct boot, you'd use CloneCD to make CD copies. PrimoDVD or Nero to make DVD copies. If you want to buy a Messiah from me, e-mail me through my profile (stating which PS2 you have) and I'll send you details.

Ouch!! I didn't realize PS2 games were so large. I've been meaning to get a DVD burner anyway. Thanks for the info and the recommendation on the burner.
How much is the Messiah? I hear a ton of whining about the price, but haven't seen a price yet. How much in US dollaroonies?? Last edited by skipjackk; 03-06-2002 at 18:31. |

Messiah varies between $90 and $100. The new US Messiah due out in a week or so will be $100 on release.

$100??? Peanuts!
I thought it was so much more the way people were talking about it. I spend more than that on blank CD-Rs. Thanks, I'll keep my eye out for it |
