Origa any good?

hi

i have a question my little brother has a ps2 too and now he wants to have it modded but he doesnt have the money for a messiah

i saw on lik-sang the origa chip is this agood choice too ??

Damn fine chip. Excellent. Does everything Messiah does but for backups requires a single GS2 swap. Import originals play with direct boot.

Good choice.

and dvd-r is no problem?

You'e seen my posts on DVD-R on v3. If the v3 is well treated and the laser hasn't been stressed, it'll play DVD-R no problem. At worst you'll need a new $65 laser.

After installation a recalibration (up to 10% resistance reduction) will get you over the short term problem.
