ACER 1208a AND CLONE QUESTION
i have the Acer and when writing with clone it will not let me enable
don't repair subchannel data This option is blanked out ? is the Acer not able to have this option ? Cheers Hammy |

extract from clone cd FAQ
"Why can't I select the "Don't repair SubChannel Data" option? This option is only available, if your writer supports writing of 96 Bytes SubChannel Data (CD-Text, CD+G). This is a restriction of your hadrware, not of CloneCD." my opinion... also if you didnt extract the subchannel data then of course it will not allow you to correct it... if this doesnt work and you have ccd v 3.0.2.3 then email them because this drive has only recently been supported by the newest version of clonecd |

acer is on eof there very few driver that does the 96kb read and write subchannel data
( i updated my bios 9gb and got final version of clone cd everything works like a charm. safedisk didnt stand a chance (sfd2 i mean) |
