it would be for both cd's but it is not protected so unless u are tring to convert the game from pal-2-ntsc or adding a trainer u do not need to patch it. if u are tring to patch it use ppf-o-matic(which you can download here psx copy world, when u make an image to your hard drive with clonecd it makes 3 files ccd, img, sub. to patch the game you will need to rename the x.img file to x.bin(x being what you name the image file) then patch it and rename the x.bin back to x.img and then burn it with the correct setting and u should not have any problem. let me know how you made out

then dont apply any patches, and use clone cd with these settings. by the sounds of things u are using shit cdr's or you laser in your psx is getting bad or hardware is not 100% compatable with clonecd.ps do you have a mod chip?

try these clonecd settings

create a cd image using clone cd with these settings.

set read speed to 1 0r 2x
select read subchanel data from data tracks
select read subchanel data from audio tracks
select abort on read errors
every thing else should be grayed out

to burn image to cd

set write speed 1 or 2x
select RAW DAO
select dont repair subchannel data
unselect simulate writing (if available)
select burn proof/just link (if available)
unselect perform laser power calibration(if available)
unselect wait until buffers are full (if available)
select always close last session

I have Hp, and Tdk CDrs. I have a light on 40x cdrw and a plextor 16 x cdrw. I have tried those setting and it did not work. I tried it with other games also. I have a modchip. A friend check it and said that the modchip was correct. It is a Psone with a stealth 4

you should not have any problem with the plex. burner as it is one of the best. the only thing i can think of is try a different type of media.

Make sure your disk isn't bad and try the slowest speed possible when burning, like buzzon said with your hardware it shouldn't be a problem.

Something taint right somewhere.
