How good is the PS2 messiah mod??

I am looking at put this in my PS2 but it is very expensive,Is it 100% faultless in booting any PSX & PS2 CD's and DVD-R's??Are patches really not required?
Please help?

yes they r faultless
well worth money
ive never had 1 complaint of something not booting (except were a bad copy or ther laser was no good couldnt read dvdr all sorted happy with big smile)
spend your money

if worried about were buy from mail me or charlie ps2
