For those who ask what burner should i buy???
This is the same question i have seen so many times i made a quick summary...
If you are buying a burner ##### these 2 lists first, they will save you alot of money... Look here for blind suite compatibility "####://www.blindwrite.com/testedwriters.htm" and here for clone cd compatibility "####://www.elby.de/CloneCD/english/cdr_a.htm" Good brands that i have tested Ricoch, Mitsumi, Acer!!!, Plextor (the old favourite) at the momment the my favourite is acer (my friend has one) although i own a mitsumi (can do almost everything), a creative -piece of sh*t (panasonic chipset), a ricoh (can do most stuff) im now looking at getting an acer for more reliable sd2 cloning. |

I have a Ricoch and it does not copy sd2 cd's but of course the philips I just purchased does. Also, my Creative reader will not read many of the copied sd2 cd's but my memorex cd rom reads them perfectly! ... also interesting is that even though the philips burner makes sd2 copies just fine, it itseft has trouble reading those cd's after the burn... very interesting. The lesson is you need both the correct burner and the correct reader to make sd2 copies work for you...
