Creative CDRW 8435E

I saw a CDRW modification for Creatve 12x10x32 to Plextor 12x10x32 on the Cd Media World site.Is such a modification possible for CDRW 8435E?
I need to upgrade the firmware to use CloneCD.

I have an 8432e and would love to know the answer as I can't seem to use clone cd at moment
