Problem with SF3:Double Impact

I have a problem with my backup copy of my SF3ouble Strike.
It doesn't run after I try to make it selfboot.
Well, it shows the 'SEGA' screen and it even shows the First Capcom logo. (White screen, huge 'Capcom' in the middle)
But after that it bounces back to the Main Menu again. (The one with the Memory card and settings)

The size of the CD is also a bit small.
It's about 278 MB.
SF3: Double Impact has to game in it.
The size should be bigger than that.

There's another Capcom game that has 2 games in it.
Jojo bizzare adventure, which uses the same board as SF3.
The size of it is 600 something MB.
Shouldn't SF3I be about that size.
(As I say before both are made by Capcom on the same board and has 2 games in it <Their 2 games only differ a bit>)
By looking at both games I even think that SF3I should be bigger in capacity

When I make an exact copy of the non-selfboot one with CloneCD, it's showing the same size (278 MB) and it runs with the Utopia boot CD.
The game cannot be a selfboot CD since it only has 1 track. (CloneCD says it is)

So, can anybody tell me what to do.
Any kind of clue will be very helpful.

There might be serveral .bin files to patch with 1170x value.
Try to look for all files containing "CD001" and try to binpatch them too.

I don't know how to do that.
Aren't the only 2 bin files we could hack are 1st_read and IP.bin?

Anyways.....
As far as I know binhack is used to hack .bin files
I'll tell you the bin files in the CD and their location.
1ST_READ.BIN ------> root folder
2_DP.BIN ------> root folder
SG_DPLDR.BIN ------> root folder
MAIGO.BIN ------> root folder
GAMESEL.BIN -------> GAMESEL folder
SF3_1ST.BIN -------> SFNG folder
SF3_2ND.BIN -------> SFNG2 folder

Those are the only .bin files
Can anyone help me with this......?

Binhack changes the LBA value in a bin file, so you should use it on any bin files that are used to boot your game.

You often need to binhack 2_DP.BIN, SG_DPLDR.BIN and MAIGO.BIN.

What I do to know wich files to binhack :
_ I look in 1st_read.bin (non selfboot one) which LBA value it contains (juste before "CD001" value)
_ I look for any game files containing "CD001"
_ I binhack all bin files that contain "CD001" and have that same value than 1st_read.bin + I binhack 1st_read.bin itself.

So now, you should have all your bin files binhacked (including 1st_read.bin) and you should be able to make your game selfboot using Echelon's method.
