Problems running backups...

I recently downloaded backups for NBA2Night and Rez, but neither of them will run properly. They'll both show the DC Splashscreen and the Sega Splashscreen, but then they'll quit out to the DC setup screen (Game/File/Music/Settings) rather than continue booting the game. I'm pretty sure that Sega Splashscreen means the ip.bin is working and booting, so what else could be wrong? Could it just be a bad burn, or is it more likely a bad backup?

My guess is that it probably has one file that wasn't hacked correctly. The disc boots and gets through part of the initialization, but apparently at one point (one of the files it's running), it isn't pointing to the right spot, so it drops out to the menu.

Just a guess...
