no solder mod.... eject light blinks games wont play :(

hey everyoen I just installed a PnP V5/6 lik sang no solder mod and It doesnt seem to work. I am on a SCPH 30001 - R with game shark 2 anyway I turn it on and the eject light keeps flashing blue over and over. when i single click eject it wont. I have to hold eject for like 3 seconds to get it to eject. then the game i insert will not play. it just sits. Please help guys. do i need to do some lame swap trick even for orginal ps2 games? thanx all late

That version of the no solder mod seems to have problems, read the post below by Aussie.

Mine wont even play the boot disk. his problem says he can play game shark cd then it wotn eject. My problem is difrent. I cannot boot anything at all. I ptu in resident evil (orginal) wotn work so i tried game shark and it dont work either. when i first turn on ps2 the reset button is orange. i then hti eject nothing happens. I have to hold eject for 3 seconds to get it to open then it automaticly closes after like 4 seconds. (never closed on its own before) any help would be great guys PLEASE

I GOT IT WORKING GUYS! all i had to do was reopen my ps2 and i saw the mod chip was slightly liek lop sided. i was in a rush putting it in and it wasnt fully inserted. works lie ka champ now later mates!
