How can i find out if my sony is a Sony CRX140E --CH2?

IT'S ON THE SIDE OF YOUR CDROM BOX
EG:CRX140E-CH2 OR SOMETHING

Weell i found itand it says Sony CRX140E/CH2 under the model number.

CDROM box.?

But i have a Sony CRX140E Writer.?
Now DO NOT FLASH! your firmware ok cause it will damage it because i have seen so many bad
flashes and your drive will DIE.? So be careful
there are firmwares on the net but dont risk it.?
The Sony CRX140E is a good CD WRITER.?

YEs it is a good writer, it writes fast and it does everything except SD2 even though myne is the the CH2! maybe i just use the wrong settigns?

What Burning software are you using and what settings?
