Help Copying the DOA loader...
got this ps2 japan unit (30000) with a neo4 chip installed, it comes with a DOA loader (not the real game) version V.8.1.J. does anyone know how i could backup the DOA loader? Here's my system specs:
P4 1800GHz 512 RAM 60GB Hard drive Toshiba 16x DVD drive Yamaha 20/10/40 SCSI writer Pioneer A04 DVD writer the disc has approx 50% data on it but ISOBuster reports a 4gb data size??? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

urgh.
it's supposed to work as a bootdisc. a backup of it is no different than a backup of a game, and STILL needs an ORIGINAL bootdisc. a copy would be totally useless.

Hmmm... is there any information out there regarding this? I mean why it can't be copied. I need to know before i call it quits, is there a quick fix or substitute that can be used and/or copied?
Thanks for shedding some light Arakon, really appreciate it!

the ps2 copy protection is physically impossible for ANY burner to reproduce. it is not and never will be possible. the copy protection is in slightly misalinged guide tracks on the cds.. which are pre-pressed into cdr blanks. you can't modify them. so unless someone produces ps2-specific (and with that highly illegal) cdr blanks, it will never happen.
