What are the best DVD-R's to buy, and where can u get them??

I found out that my memorex ones wont work, so I need to get a list of some that work, and where I can get them.

I know that Circut City has the TDK brand that is supposed to work, but they are $15 a peice

So, what other brands of DVD-R work for making backup games, and work with my modchip type?

So far i have had no problem with memorex dvd-r. I also like verbatim and TDK's.
