safe disc2

could u copy safe disc 2 by reading with the cdrom drive and burn the image with the writer as those philip drives don't sound as a good burner if they only copy safe disc2

The copying of sd2 is just as important in the writing as it is with the reading. U WILL NEED a compatable sd2 burner to copy sd2 u can find my sd2 compatibitly list on the protections section of this forum.

I have heard a rumour that some burners will burn safedisc 2 with clone cd, and the product WILL ONLY be read in the burner itself, and that this is particularly true with the plex's.

i can confirm that rumor, it is true that most plex's will copy sd2 but the copy will only be readable in the burner itself, once again if u ##### the protection part of the forum u will find my list that has compible burners and ones that will copy sd2 but will only play in the burner.

philips 804EK copies red alert2 using clone cd and it works in any drive.
