Questions about V6 mod chip
I have a V6 no solder mod chip, and everything was working fine, I was using the method where you hold down the eject button until the PS2 ejects, swap the disks, then the PS2 will close automatically and the game will load. But now when I press and hold the eject button down it no longer ejects. It will eject normally by tapping the eject button, but when I hold down the eject button the power light flashes like it would normally eject, then about five seconds later, when the tray would normally close on it's own, the power button again flashes orange, like it normally should, but the tray stays closed the whole time.
If anyone here has experienced this or know any information on it that would be very helpful. Thank you in advance,

This seems to happen to alot with the pnp no solder mods. The pnp is a version of the no solder mod that has a socketed dvd chip on the board. I would avoid this style of no solder mod, If this is what you have then i would exchange it for another version or get a messiah.
