dvd copy no mod chip?
Okay I realize that with my No solder pnp mod chip I cannot play dvd GAME backups of over like what 650 megs right? BUT the mod i am getting DOES support both CDr and DVDr backups. Okay on to my questions. Do you even need a mod chip to watch back up DVD movies? like from a rental store? Like say you rent a movie and want to make a copy for private use or you want to back up a copy of a dvd movie (not game) that you own. with a dvd burner you simply copy it and you could play it in your DVD player right? so does the same go for ps2? like if i have a dvd burner and burn a dvd movie can i watch it on my ps2 with a no solder mod chip that does support dvd r? because it would seem i could watch a dvd MOVIE backup even without mod chip. can anyone give me soem advice? thanx
