Copying cd with safedisc v2 to img file?

Hi

I was trying to copy one of my games (stronghold) to an image file with CloneCD, however it stays at 0%. The cd has Safedisc v2 protection.

It doesn't really matter if I can burn the image file, as long as I can copy the cd to an image file first.

I'm using Clone CD 3.3.4.1
I've got a LG CD-RW CED-8080B & a COMPAQ DVD-ROM DVD-114.

Thanks

I noticed the same thing with MOHAA, after about 20 minutues it was still at 0%, I left it running while I slept, and when I woke up a few hrs later it was done 100%, how long did you let it copy for ? I've seen in a few other posts that the first 3-5% take the longest, after that it goes pretty fast.

Did you enable Fast Error Skip?

Even with this enabled some drives will take hours reading it. And some will take about 5mins (like mine)

Thanks for you replies.

I just downloaded & installed C-CD 4.0.0.1, the menu has changed, how do I select Fast Error Skip in this version?

edit: nm I found out...

It's reading it now at 1-8 kbytes/s .. :/
I believe you're correct MedMan

Does anyone know how to speed it up?

Ah yes, I noticed that the menu in xxl changes to CC4 settings. It now actually starts CC when you click the start cc button.
The settings I got made the whole process faster
Copies at 4x now!

Thanks
