i've even tried a south african search engine as my folks are over there at the moment and i thought they could get me it cheaper.

Optical. The weather is nice and sunny down here in London !!! Just to make you jealous. I also quite often use a microsoft intellimouse (bcoz my wife prefers it) and I have to say if you cant find the boomslang, these mice are pretty decent.

i'll go get this months mag, cheers you've been really helpful, drank too much watching the game last night have just got up 11.30hrs, lol.
at the moment i'm on 56k, i tried getting broadband but it isn't in the area, where i'm moving to has cable, better social life but bigger travel to work.
no doubt you would frag me, my ping is that high i'm dead before i get a shot off, think i'll stick to sniper, lol.
thanks again for putting your self out, i'm holding out for an e-mail from my folks in cape town as the rand/pound exchange makes everything a lot cheaper over there, saying that if i've struggled finding one here there's little chance finding one over there, will let you know how i get on.
what concerns me is i bought a saitek p2000 gamepad last year, and they have stopped developing xp drivers, rendering the pad useless, and although the razor looks the kiddie they haven't released an xp driver for it yet, although they are working on one, i think the company are having problems.
now where did i put my headache tablets, lol
cya m8
