Unhappy VCD Copies

I am having trouble copying a few VCD's ,I am able to do most I have ,but I have just got a couple of new ones.
They are on 1 disc,(about 780-795meg) I check them with ClonyXL and Detect .
Both say the disc's have 'OVERBURN' and 'DUMMY FILES' on them
One program says to use 'CDRwin' which tells me the file is not "Whitebook'
The other says CDRwin with 'Sub channels both ticked.
This I do and all I manage to get is a disc that says 'Audio Cd' which does not work.
I have also tried Nero and Easy CD Ceator 5 ,these also gave 'Audio CD's'.
I have a 'ACER 10x8x32 CDRW' which is a 'ATAPI' CDRW.
Basically I have no idea what is going wrong ,is it the Burner?
Both people that I got the VCD's off said they had no problem.

Unhappy

Not really shore ,all I know is that in CD Clone it says that everthing is supported ,so I can only assume so.
I have also tried 2 different types of CDR's.
I have been told that the Acer is not supported by CD Clone but that way the older versions ,I have just went to 4.0 ,but have not tried to burn with this.

hi in fact
i use nero to copy vcd but if you want to make a copy ...i think you have to drag and drop the . dat files(you find it most of time in mpeg directory) in the video cd window in nero and that 's all ....
but maybe i didn't understand really the question ..

bye...

Here are a couple of sites that should be able to help you, just type in the conversion you want and the last on is where I would start. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

your burner must be able to read the subchannels in order to read all the data. try using ISOBUSTER and extracting the mpeg, see what you can do from there.
