Anyone heard of this game, its the funky one where you get to dodge bullets with a webcam. only thing is, i cant get it to work. Its only on CD, so i burned it in the usual way with CDRWIN, but for some reason it boots to a blank screen then freezes. What am i doing wrong, all my other CD backups work! Any help would be cool, cos i love games with guns!!

Yeah it is cool, your backup is probably ok but it needs an EA boot to run the game. Often when a game starts to load then locks up with a black screen after a couple of seconds and EA boot is the solution.

EA Boot: For ActionReplay and NEO2.x
1) Turn off PS2 for about 5 secs.
2) Turn on Ps2 and eject CD tray.
3) Insert AR Boot disc.
4) Close CD Draw.
5) Turn off Ps2 with Front power button.
6) Press Power button and keep it held down.
7) Keep button held in while selecting to run the game as usual from the menu.
8) Get right to the last point before the disc will boot (screen says something like "insert game disc then press x") then release the power button.
9) the tray will eject for about 2 to 4 seconds depending on NEO version (disc should have stopped spinning!).
10) quickly remove the boot disc and replace with the game.
11) press the X key JUST as the tray shuts fully.

Sorry just re-read your post and realised you want to use a gun with the game. For some reason EA boot prevents the Gun from working and currently the EA patchers don't work on this game.

Of course I would be VERY happy for someone to correct me

Cheers for all the help, but perhaps you can answer another question for me, I have the NEOKEY USB mod, would i be right in understanding you cant actually boot ea games without patching them anyway with this mod? If this is indeed the case, do you know if anyone is working on a patch for this game, or how i would go about writing an EA patch myself.

the ea trick can't have any influence on it. the game simply only works with very few guns and cams. it works the same way with my Nyko gun on both my neo 2.2 modded ps2 with EA trick and my messiah modded ps2.
