copying PS2 games w/ unreadable sectors

I am trying to make backups of some of my PS2 games. On some of them when I try to read the disc I get an illegal track or sector. Does anyone know any good software to use to combat this problem? (games I am trying to back up: GTA3, Spiderman, Allstar baseball 2003.

those are DVD games. you can't back them up without a dvdrom (and a dvd-r burner if you want a complete backup).
cdrwin also won't read those.

So, if I get a DVD burner, I will be able to back up all of PS2 games, even the one's with unreadable sectors? Also, will I be able to make backups of DVD movies? Can you advise me as to which are the better DVD burners on the market?
