Damn, Did i brought the wrong CDRW?

I brought a Sony CRX160E-A1 12/8/32 CDRW. But it only work with newer vertion of software. and my modchip playstation cannot play the copygame from it..... what should i do?
p/s: i am using CDRWIN3.8 the cd copy complete ok, but when i look at the disk in cd rom, it found no file. Pls help.

I dont think the problem is your writer.
I think the problem is that you have a bad serial for CDRWIN 3.8
Did you use a serial that you got from someplace to unlock it? If yes, its probably bad and thats why it just burns coasters. Try getting another key gen or download version 3.7f

Do not bother with 3.7f else you will be posting messages that it can not find your burner!
3.7f does NOT support it.
Agree with the suggestion that you have used a bad key, that will only result in every cd you burn being a coaster.

You are right, I 3.7f will not detect my cdrw, but i am happy to heard that it is not my CDRW. So when i put in the unlock key, it did not give me any error...... and it seem fine to me, so it is true that even with wrong unlock key it will "unlock" the software but it is not working?. And in this case how do i test weather i found the right key? (i didn't want to keep burning junk..). Do anyone of you here can help me out?

yeah, its true....even if you put the wrong key in, the program will unlock....its not gonna give you any errors and it will act like its working and really burning disks. But everything you burn will turn out a coaster. So go get a working key. I dont know how to test whether they are bad or not, maybe someone else does.

go to the following address and in the search field, type in cdrwin 3.8a or whatever your version is. you should find something.

Hey why not get some different writing software altogether try clone cd I use this and find it to be excelent its shareware and you need to reg but if you look around you can pick the number up if you dont register it means you can only write at 2x

and what do you do if ClodeCD doesnt support your drive? then what? go buy a new cd-rw drive. Stick the CDRWIN thats the best thing out right now.
