Question Ghost Recon question.

I am somewhat new to this. I have a question on Ghost Recon. The instructions read as follows:

1Install the game - Full Installation.
2Apply the official Ghost Recon v1.2.10.0 [ENGLISH] Patch.
3Replace the original GHOSTRECON.EXE executable with the one 4from the Executable Archive.
5Play the Game!

Now how do I apply the Patch?? Do I need to download the patch to my desktop and put it in the Ghostrecon file? Or what If I could have some help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Download the official patch.(Make sure you have the original exe
before patching).
Run the patch to update the game. Backup the original (updated)
exe and then replace it with the fixed exe from the archive

Hope this will help you
