Ghost Recon

I made a back up of ghost recon and downloaded several no-cd fixes and replaced the original .exe file but still wont load keep getting "this program has performed an illegal operation blah, blah" u know the rest, I then managed to find one on megagames.com and when trying to replace the file again I get filesize/version missmatch, ghost recon v 1.1.5.0, Protection: safediscV2 v.2.51.021, don't know if this helps but I hope someone can solve this for me TIA!!!!
