Multitap together with Messiah?

I can't get my multitap to work after I put in Messiah in my PS2.
Does anybody know if it should work?
Heard that it doesn't work together with Origa and Neo.

er.. never heard of that at all, and don't see how that would be possible either.
the mods don't mess with the controller ports and any of the parts having to do with the controls AT ALL, there's absolutely no reason why it wouldn't work with a mod.

Totally agree. There is really no reason why it shouldn't work. But it doesn't.
Have you or anybody else tried a multitap with a Messiah?

I have Messiah, Multitap and all other peripherals work fine.

Is that a pirate Multitap or the original?
I got a pirate one and I can't be 100% that it still works, with or without the Messiah.
