Safedisc2 with Liteon CDR-RW

I have a LiteOn LTR-24102B.
I am trying to make a 1:1 working copy of Medal of Honor. I have used Clonecd V3XXXX, V4XXXX and also tried using CDRWIN. I have read many threads and tutorials and believe that my burner is capable of doing the job but I still seem to be making coasters. The game will install, but will not play. This happens in either drive so it isn't the Hide CDR thing in Clone CD.
I was going to upgrade the firmware of my burner, but since the manufacturing date was Feb 2002, and the latest firmware version is Feb 2002 I decided not to.
I also noticed that in the Log in Clonecd, it tells me that my LiteOn doesn't support Fast Error Skip settings (none, and software), so it changes it to Hardware.
I would really appreciate your help.

My other drive is a Sony 52x Cdrom - not a burner.
I finally managed to find a copy clony which runs on my computer, seems strange but the only version that will run is Clony XXL v2.0.0.2
Hopefully if I follow all the settings it suggests, things may go a little better.
