I've just made this copy of Hot Date on my friend's computer (I don't have any burner myself). He's got a Samsung CD-R/RW Sw-212B burning at 12X max. We used Clonecd. I can launch the install program, I get through the serial key number, but then it asks me to specify the correct cdrom drive letter. I browsed the forum and didn't find anything relating to installing the Sims expansion. I just can't get to install the game! Can anyone help me on that one?
P.S.: Sorry, I'm a newbie and english is not my native language.

Because you copied it with Clone CD, it rules out naming the cd wrong.
Here's a situation I found myself in. Whilst installing the newer expansion pack (On Holiday), it asked me to insert the original Sims game - it came up with the prompt for correct drive letter. It wasn't very clear that the original Sims had to be inserted (it said it in small writing near the top). I dunno about the Hot Date expansion pack though.

Do you mean that it's the cd of the Sims that I have to insert and not the expansion? If that doesn't work, can you tell me how I can burn a copy of Hot Date and getting to name the copy right as you're saying I can't with CloneCd?

What Vluka and I said about the original Sims is probably the solution.

You were both right, I took the original cd and it worked. Thanks for your help.
