where do I find the F/W listed in win xp?

I have just got a new liteon 32x burner and I am going to check to see if the firmware is up to date but I cannot find where its listed.........and also is anyone running one of these drives with the new firmware (2nd april 2002).....cheers!

Dunno if you can check the FW version within the XP, so I think it's better if you get the Flash Rom program for your burner and before flashing it will tell you from which version you're going to upgrade. Cancell the operation if you don't like to upgrade at that moment. This may vary from burner to burner but at least on mine it works like this.
