neo4 uninstall
Hi,
im about to uninstall a neo4 from a 30003 ps2. can anyone tell me where to link to correct the track cut? looked for diags but they all seem to be install only. help appreciated RT |

i am looking for that info too.
If you cant find out, just take the chip out n get sony to swap the machine, they send a courier out with a replacement machine. done it a few times, no probs |

hhhm, i think im gonna do that, however i have managed to repair the track by gently scraping the solder resist off, and tinning the copper track then repairing with a single strand of copper wire. wouldnt recomend tho ;-)

how do you convince Sony to swap machines with you if you have opened it!??!

You dont have to convince them, just phone them and they will arrange for a courier to bring one to your house, just giv the knackered one to the courier n they giv u a recon. one. no questions asked. done it loads of times

sony exchange is very good no questions asked it costs £75 for a refurbished exchange ps2 sony repair center 0870 5998877
