Unhappy Backup problems with GTA3

Hi
I have tried to make a backup of my GTA3.
Using Pioneer DVD-writer with software Nero or Primo.
When I'm writing the imagefile both programs stops at 91% completed and then "Terminated with error".
Does anybody knows why?

No idea why, however my NTSC U/C original does the same thing (and I've tried 3 others). I can't prove it, but I believe there to be some deliberately non-standard data on the disc.

Good luck on copying it and if you do, please let me know how you managed to do it because I have all but given up on it.

Tril

Yesterday I tried to write an image-file of a DVDfilm with about the same size.
The same thing happen.
Both the film and GTA3 contain almost 4.7GB. Even if the DVD-R can't fit any more data I think you would be able to write the image-file as long as you have harddrive space enough.

you must download the px fixer from the prassi site. This will split the image file in peices. windows cannot handle a file bigger than 4 gb

Sounds great but I couldn't find it on prassi.com.
Are you sure about the name of the file and that it should be on that site?

Use the help Icon in Primo DVD, select Prassi Europe, the update is there.
