sorry to bother you guys I went to http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/ and I read how to make backups with clonecd but when I put it in the playstation it said please put in a playstation game I need help do I need a modchip or a bootdisc and if i need a modchip where can I get one

you need a mod chip or a boot disk unless you get a hold of a burner that sony uses which they do not sell but if you get a hold of one let me know i am trying i know some one that works at sony

In order for u to play burnt psx games u will need a mod-chip or bootdisc. i recommend a mod-chip, alot better and less hassel.

you could try the swap metod but a good mod chip is the way to go. where do you live canada,usa ect so i can give you a link to some where close to you. if you want a step by step way to use the swap metod email me [email protected] and i will send it to you.

I am not quite sure but i know that psx games are stamped burned (pressed) or something like that and they put a barcode on the very start of the cd and thats the protection. so you probably dont need a burner made by sony but rather one that will burn the barcode.
