Please describe exacly how to use no CD files for MOHAA...

I don't have a clue how to use the files. I have already downloaed the files. One is called fdxmohrf.ace and the other is devmh11.ace. I have already upgraded to version 1.10. Hope that isn't a problem.

Here is the info off the page:

Medal of Honor v1.10 [US/ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE 26-01-2002
Deviance / Fairlight
Executable Archive [619 KB] - SD v2.51.021
Patch Archive [1 KB]

No-CD Instructions:
Install the game - Full Installation.
Execute/Double-Click the MOHAA-FLT.REG file to update the windows registry.
Apply the official Medal of Honor [US] v1.10 Patch.
Replace the original MOHAA.EXE executable with the one from the Executable Archive.
Play the Game!

How do I "Replace the original MOHAA.EXE executable with the one from the Executable Archive." I don't really know what that means. When I download the files they have the look of a sheet of paper with the windows flag on it. When I double Click on them a Windows box appears that says at the top "Open With" and shows all the programs on my computer. That doesn't act like a execuitable to me.

Please be rather specific. I can build computers but this has me baffled.

Another question......How can I find out what version or MOHAA that I have? I may have to install the patch that is mentioned in the instructions. I went into the game and looked all around and didn't find anything.

Thanks for the help guys

I downloaded Winace, the newest version from their website and when I double click to install it I get an error that says that it has performed an illigal operation and will be shut down. If I click the debug tag it says that I need to reinstall Windows because of some conflict or other.

Some one download this file and tell me if it works for you. I have tried most of the sites listed and they all give the same error.

Thanks
