Backup of civ 3 - this message occurs

Hi. I am new to these boards. I have searched thru the other civ 3 posts and have not found a successful cure for my problem.

I have a Freecom 24x 10x 40x Burnproof cd rw.

I am using Easy Cd Creator 5.1b (crap apparently). I was trying to make a backup of civ3 - I initially copied everything to a cd rw but the game wouldnt run with out the original cd. I downloaded the civ-3-117f-nocd.ace file. I extracted the 117f game patch deleted the original civ3.exe and copied the civ3.exe from the ace file along with the little myth doc. Upon clicking on the new civ3.exe (from ace dwnld) I get the following message : error A required .dll file binkw32.dll was not found? Any ideas would be appreciated !

binkw32.dll

if it would help to put in the dyn.lib.lnk.(dll) file, i could send it to you but you haven't enabled e-mail. I'm not sure it would even work , but it's worth a shot.
