need information about katana-copy-protection!!!

i've got problems in burning f355 & lemans 24h. i think because they got the katana-copy protection with this 45000 lba-issue... i read in a posting that burning a dummy-track with a length of about 45000lbas should fix it, but it doesn't work for my games... so i'ld like to have now some information about this katana-copy-stuff... if you know any link or something else i'ld be very pleased, because i tried many web-crawler and didn't get any result that helped along...
