OK i'll ask this question as it's one i really do need to ask. I've got all the sims disks, and would like to back them up so that if the originals corrupt, i'll still have a working copy I've read about there being protection on these disks and would like to know how to get around them, as i'm more used to backing up and patching PSX stuff.. Cd Reader : LG 52X drive Cd Writer : Lite-on 24102B ( I think it's basically 24X10x40x) Programs used : Clone cd 3.2.2.1, CDrWin v4.0a I suppose it doesn't matter what media i use as i've never had to before, but normally it's Intenso 80 Min Cd's.

he's what i would do
1.download cloney xxl from here http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware...eCD%20Database 2.scan the cds for protection and it will give you the right settings for clonecd and then burn them since your writer can write safedisk2 you should have no probs Ps you should update clonecd to 3.3.4.1 go to http//:www.elby.org

as long as you read everything raw and dont get errors, you should be fine. the lite on should eat the safedisc and safedisc 2 alive. i just put the sims in my philips to make sure i wasnt lying, and with fast error skip on and read raw-dao, it hasnt registered an error. you should do fine. be sure to read if its worth upgrading your clone cd, because i didnt, and it was a hassle to get hide cd-r media working again
