X-Plane 6.10 NO CD not working

Has anyone figured out how to get this to work? I want to play my full version without the cd. I downloaded the .rar file and extracted the patch into the X-plane directory. Clicked on the patch and it said it failed the crc check yet still said everything went fine. The game still goes into demo mode after 7 minutes.

Anyone have any ideas.

Yes Kind of strange isnt it

Doesnt seem to work no matter what you do. Guess its back to leaving the cd in the drive. This is a great site. I usualy had to replace my CDROM drive once every year due to wear and tear. I have had the same one running now for 2 1/2 years. Also helped keep my original copies free from scratches and premature wear. Hopefully they will find a fix for it soon. I dont like burning back up copies of my original games if I dont have to, but when you spend upwards to 50.00 on a game, it pays to safeguard it.

Someone with a solution would make my day.
