Unhappy I Need A Flash Light

ALL ALONE IN THE DARK

i have the original ps2 metal gear solid 2 dvd rom based game (ntsc) ....i know there is no need to make a back up for metal gear since i will need to take out the movies ...which are a big part of the game ..... (i am using metal gear as a test run)

This is the only game i have & i would like to learn how to rip dvd based games .....i have all the tools needed for dvd rip & a Tutorial by: gokun
so please help me out with the problems i am having.
here goes:

i got all the tools needed for ripping & a tutorial
my problem is when i try to copy all the files & folder on the dvd & paste them to temp folder on my hard drive.(per tutorial)
i can copy & paste most of the files ....the ones i cant copy & past are

DEMO .DAT
VOX.DAT

when i try to past the demo.dat i get a error:

"cannot copy demo: An attempt was made to load a program with a incorrect format"

same for vox.dat

any idea why ...am i doing something wrong?

please shed some light on my problems

thanks in advance
