Need Help Badly

For all audio files, these conditions apply:
MP3 and WAV files must be recorded as 16-bit stereo files using a 44.1KHz sampling rate.

This is for my cd burner, I recorded my voice on my pc and it went into a wave file. When I try to put it on a cd this is the message that it give's me. My cd-burner is a hp 9100 series. I realy apperciate any help.

BOT is on a distinguished road
When you record your voice record at those settings. Settings are always adjustable.
Use a wave editor to convert your previous recordings to those settings.

I apperciate the help man, I'm trying to make a cd for my g/f for valentine's day and I want to be able to talk onto the cd inbetween the song's. I realy apperciate the help though thank's.

Just one more question, when I post a topic and get the answer to it do I need to delete it or just leave it up. If I need to delete it I don't realy know how to and need some help there but thank's for the help.
