xkey dvd help

I have just upgraded my USB mod with a neo 2.5 dvd or xkey. It works well for all originals and cd backups, but I want to know if my setup will play DVD-R before I go out and but a Pioneer A03.

I have PAL GT3 pack (version 4)
Action Replay 1.92
Xkey DVD

Any comments would be appreciated.
