Is it possible for backup copies to be played online? I keep getting errors with the cd or something like that when i join a server, and it asks me to leave, i hit cancel, the game just stops playing and kicks me out. If so, how =) Thanks

it sounds like uve got the game to run theres alot of ppl on here cant could u let me no if u have the setup.exe off ur cd if u do please upload it so we can try it cos mine locks out when tryin to install it if u cant do that could u extract the reg files for the game as i can get the game to run by axtractin all the files out of the cab files but it doesnt get passed the loading screen i think this is due to the fact that im missin the reg files thankz

Hi, i've gotten the game to run fine, what I did do was what someone tried on another topic here, I copied all of the movie files off of the second cd, onto a folder on my renegades directory \data\movies and it loads up now just fine without a cd. Before it asked for one, now it doesnt. But I still have a problem with playing online, it says my cd authentication failed. My game.exe is the cracked one from gamecopyworld, so i doubt it would be any good to you

Damn, I tried that and the game still crashes randomly on me when installing

ive got the game to work as a backup now i have 8 coasters to show for it lol there is another way of doin it to get the game to play u said it crashes it wouldnt be right after the install movie by chance let me no

I got the same problem as BobBaker. When i enter the game it say that the 'cd authentication failed' and it asked me to quit.
I using the same crack from the gamecopyworld and i don't know the real problem is but i've made several theories on it.

1. It is maybe because the online valid cd is wrong.
2. The crack that you use don't use cd to play the game. U can see as the game didn't play the movie even you put the movie disc in the cd-rom. Maybe the server want to authencite the cd but failed to do so.

That my theories.If you know how to solve the problem please inform me...

yeah, i think so...because my cdrom doesn't reading the cd
