Problem
Hello,
I try to make a backup of my daughter's game "Franklin the turtle" (French translation). For Clony, there is no protect but read errors. I change the settings of clone and I burn on a HP series 7200. The copy is succesfully. But if i can install the game, it's impossible to play. May be my burner is to old. Thanks for all

Hi,
well, your writer isn't up-to-date and thus a 1:1 copy is almost impossible. Maybe Clony only detects some bad sectors, but clony can't detect cd-checks (of course!). I don't know the game (sorry) but it sounds like it has cd-checks. Sorry, but the only way round this is 1) a new writer or 2) crack the file yourself, as I don't think anybody has cracked it yet.

Hi monty burns,
Thanks for your reply. Just another question, I try to make the copy with a "new" writer (yamaha 24x RAW DAO...) and no way. Could you help me to set clonecd or another soft ? thank you in advance
