booting question very urgent ,please help.

hi i have the gameshark 2 for the psx2 and a chip soldered.i go to load the game after the shark swap and it locks up after i swap ,at the loading screen.any idea?do i need the ar2 as well??i did manage to get it to work once.maybe im not booting it right.
any help appreciated ,thanx

On there your find all the booting methods for your Game Shark.

EA Sports games are booted differently to NON-EA Games, so may find your just using the wrong method, we have all been there so check out the site above. Post back and let us know how you get on.

The action replay 2 is for pal machines. To boot if you are using the Neo 2.2. Boot with the gameshark cd holding the reset button. When the main menu is loaded let go of reset and the cd tray will open, swap GS cd for your backup (you have about 4 seconds) when it takes the backup in click start game without codes press X. It should say loading game, go onto a black screen and then a few seconds later (has taken 20 secs max. with me) the game should come on.
