how do i make a backup copy of my games?

i want to copy my games to keep the original in mint condition.
how do i do it?
i am new to pc's so wondered how it could be done.
system specs:
duron 800@850
20gb hard drive
512mb pc 133 ram
nvidia geforce gts graphics card
samsung dvd rom(sd 612)
ricoh 7083A cd rewriter
win me

please help me do this, i have downloaded cd clone i was told this helps and it is compatible with my rewriter.

YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE CD ##### OR CD PROTECTION. YOU HAVE TO CRACK IT. TRY A PROGRAM CALLED WIN32DASM. ITS A DEBUGGER
